Sharon Marie Iversen

Sharon Marie Iversen, age 79, of Harvard, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was born on June 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (nee Erhke) Oerkfitz. She married Don R. Iversen on June 3, 1967 and spent 56 wonderful years together.

Sharon loved to spend her free time attending her grandchildren's school events and sports games. She cherished all her time spent with them.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Don; her beloved sons, Jeffrey Iversen and Timothy (Brandee) Iversen; her cherished grandchildren, Madeline (Chris Elizondo) Iversen , Elizabeth (Blain) Muth, Andrew Iversen, and Alexander Iversen; her favorite great-grandchild Aiden Muth; and her loving siblings, Judy Pfingsten, Larry (Helen) Oerkfitz, Pat Oerkfitz, and Marilyn Oerkfitz.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerry Oerkfitz, Ronald Oerkfitz, Doug Oerkfitz; her brother-in-law, John Pfingsten; and her step-son Danny Iversen.

A celebration of life will be held on August 27, 2023 from 12 PM to 4 PM at 680 Cress Creek Lane, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014. Please join us in honoring Don & Sharon Iversen. Please bring your favorite memories & stories to share.
