

She was born April 24, 1955 in Chicago to Richard and Grace (Natter) Diehl. On May 11, 1974 she married Pedro “Pete” Rodriguez in Carpentersville.
Sharon loved her family more than anything. She always put others first and had a great impact on the lives of others. She had a strong faith in her religion. She was also an integral part of the Dundee Highlanders wrestling team for over 18 years with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Pete; her sons, PJ and Dom (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Isabella, Hunter, and Brooklyn; her siblings, Chet, Peg (Jim) Fox, Nancy Bessel, Ken, Ray (Marie), Mary (Paul) Letheby, Jack (Rhonda), and Jeff (Lynn); her mother-in-law, Oralia Rodriguez; her siblings-in-law, Diane (Rich) Pollack, Arnoldo (Katie) Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez, Delores Eisenhauer, Alvaro (Marcia) Rodriguez, and Debra (Julio) Garcia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Consuello and Elena Marie; her parents; her father-in-law, Alberto Rodriguez, Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Alberto “Chico” Rodriguez Jr. and Alonzo Rodriguez; her brother, Ralph Diehl; and her nephew, Steve Lindberg.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8pm on Sunday, January 11 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The visitation will continue from 10am to 11am on Monday, January 12 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard, Algonquin. The funeral Mass will be at 11am.
