Alvina "Vinie" Novocin

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the age of 100 in Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Lehrmann. Loving mom of Lois (the late Ronald) Grambow, Norbert (Sandra) Novocin, Joseph (Joann) Novocin, and Dolores "Cookie" (Skip) Conway. Dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren. Formerly married to the late Victor Novocin. Further survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends. Alvina was born and lived in Cudahy, her entire life and was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Cudahy . She was active in the community and on March 3, 2011 the Mayor of Cudahy proclaimed that day to be "Alvina P. Novocin Day". Funeral service Friday, May 6, 1PM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 3775 E. Cudahy Ave., Cudahy, WI. Visitation at church from 11AM until the time of service. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church for the "Alvina Novocin Fund" being established in her memory are appreciated.
