Your father will be cheering the Irish on from the sidelines - best seat he ever had - against the Boilermakers on September 4 - unless your mother has other plans.

He will always be with you.

Dear Hecker family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Our dads worked together, however I got to know your dad from the Cudahy football games, him paying his lawn care, etc. He was such a sweet man and will be missed dearly.

Dad, I can't put into words what you meant to me.  All the games you were there on the sidelines for us, all the trips to Notre Dame or Penn State or Madison or Chicago can never be duplicated.  I love you so much, my life will have a void now because of your passing.  You were my friend, sometimes my conflict, always my motivation...you were my Dad.   I will miss you so much.

We are so sorry to hear of "Pa" Hecker's passing. We always used to call him Pa Hecker :) He was a warm & wonderful human being & we loved talking with him. He will be deeply missed. May you find peace & comfort in all the great memories you have of him. Our prayers go out to all of you.
