I  worked with Mike at Bonanza Beverage, but when I say work,it was never work.  Mike always made things easier and a lot of times fun.  He was a person I could always count on, never fail.  I've never known a harder working person.  My Mother always told me good people leave us to become angels to look over us.  I know with Mike in Heaven, there will will be no Angel that works harder than him, looking out for everyone he cared for.  I will always feel fortunate to have gotten to know Mike.
Mike, I will miss You.

It really hurts to know that our family has lost another super good hearted family member. I will always cherish all the fun times and memories of all the fun we had when we were all young kids all together there at Uncle David & Auntie Gails house.And I also always loved it when Grandma Slipper would bring me along with her to visit many times too when Grandma was watching me when we lived with Grandma & Grandpa Slipper. All the fun we all had and all the trouble we tried to stay outta! "LoL" They were all good times and good memories that I'll treasure them all forever and never forget. As I knew Mike. AKA The Golden Pieguin. I did not work direct with Mike, but when he worked under me in Laughlin for the Biker Run he was so excited to see all the Harley Davisons that were there. I paid for a couple Harley Rides for him ,and he loved it. We will all put your name on our Backs and ride down the streets to Heaven with you. TM

Funeral service for punky is now on Tuesday January 8th but at the same time

Punky will be a person that will never be forgotten.I went to High School with him and there was never a dull moment when he was in the room.Lots of laughs will be remembered!

I will always remember you at the "Karow Twin's" House Parties!! Punky...You were "The One" that if you weren't at attendance at the start of a PARTY...EVERYONE was asking?? Is Punk and Schalitz coming"? And as always you came &, and always was the life of the party, always started the game of "Quaters", always tried to be a "voice of reason" when things weren't going so right...AND I WILL REMEMBER.. Punky, I couldn't begin to count the times you slept on our couch.  You were like a permanent fixture in our family since the first we met you.  You have been still a close friend to Matt.  We loved you (even though you couldn't tell sometimes) and we will miss you.

Mike "Punky", was a good friend of mine in High School. My house was one his many "homes" that he made himself feel at home in. I'll never forget the trek he took across country with my sister and other friends in 1991 to visit while I was stationed in San Diego. "Punky" you were an awesome person and will be missed!
