Benjamin Joseph McDaniel

Funeral services for Benjamin Joseph McDaniel, 26, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Sacred Heart Church, the Revs. Patrick Egan, OSB, Bede Marcy, OSB, and Joel Martin, OSB, officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McDaniel died Sunday, Sept. 23, at his residence. He was born March 2, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Ryan McDaniel; his grandparents, Mellie John McDaniel and Mary Sue McDaniel, and Francis X. Teesdale.

Survivors include his parents, Mitchell A. and Teresa T. McDaniel; two brothers, Mitchell Mack McDaniel of Birmingham and Mark Francis McDaniel of Cullman; two sisters, Colleen McDaniel of Minneapolis, Minn., and Maggie McDaniel of Shreveport, La.; his grandmother, Frances Cleary of New Jersey; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham, 100 Oslo Cirlce, Birmingham, AL 35211 — Attn: Crystal Reno, c/o Ben Daniel Memorial.

Pallbearers will be Colleen McDaniel, Maggie McDaniel, Mitchell Mack McDaniel, Mark Francis McDaniel, Case Toomey, Mickey Toomey and Marcey Toomey.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
