Billy Leon Pierce

He is survived by his daughters Sonya (Walt) Ledford, and Jennifer (Steve) Melton. His grandchildren Chasten (Samantha) Melton, Jordan (Zak) Ivey, Lane Ledford, Blake (Sarah) Melton, and Kale Ledford: 4 great grandsons: Carter Ivey, Krew Melton, Carson Ivey, and Shepherd Melton.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Kathy Pierce, his parents, and his siblings.

He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather. He was a long term member of Zion Baptist Church of Covington, Georgia. He was very active in his church, serving as a Sunday School teacher for many years as well as being a member of the Jubilee Choir.

A visitation for Billy will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 SR - 212, Covington, GA 30016. A a celebration of life funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 7037 SR - 212, Covington, GA 30016. An interment will occur Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 7037 SR - 212, Covington, GA 30016.
