Blane Daniel, 70, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on May 23, 2026. Born September 18, 1955, Blane will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by courage, steady resilience, and an adventurous spirit that carried him through every season with quiet strength.
Blane faced life with a brave heart and a determined steadiness—meeting challenges without surrender and embracing each new day with the resolve of someone who understood that perseverance is its own kind of legacy. Those who knew him will recall not only what he endured, but the way he carried himself through it: firmly, faithfully, and with a spirit that did not easily bend.
Blane is survived by his daughters, Chandra Mahler (Bailey) and Haley Hock (Richard); his son, Hunter Daniel; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Smith, Clay Mahler, Zeke Mahler, Peyton Hock, Lilli Hock, and Easton Hock; and his significant other, Debra Coffey. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Daniel, and his mother, Ann Chandler Smith.
Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 350555827, on May 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Moss-Service Funeral Home on May 28, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Cullman City Cemetery, 9th St SW, Cullman, AL 35055, on May 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
