Funeral services for Carolyn McClendon Vandiver, 70, of Cullman will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at New Prospect Baptist Church, Revs. Kenneth Shelton and Ray Ponder officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Vandiver passed away Monday at her residence. She was born Aug. 23, 1946, in Cullman to Ernest and Dorothy Imogene McClendon. She was a housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Glenda Ann Nail; brother, Maxie McClendon. Survivors include her husband, Rayburn Vandiver; mother, Imogene Baker McClendon; daughter, Cindy Vandiver; sons, Brad (Cecila) Vandiver and Tracy Vandiver; sister, Melissa Roseberry; brother, Leon McClendon; grandchildren, Daniel (Brittney) Vandiver, Cody (Hannah) Vandiver and Chasady Vandiver and Jase Gibbs. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
