Mr. Carroll Ray Sandlin

Mr. Carroll Ray Sandlin of Cullman Alabama passed away on September 25, 2012 at Cullman Regional Medical Center at the age of 85. He was born in Toledo Ohio on September 15, 1927 to Ernest and Gena Bell House Sandlin. He was a member of Bethsadia Baptist Church since 1963 and a member of Trimble Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years: Dorothy Jane Sandlin, Brothers: Ernest Sandlin Jr., Clifford Sandlin and Jerry Sandlin, Sisters: Phyllis Reitmeier and Betty Jean Sandlin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 28, 2012 at Bethsadia Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jim Abbott officiating. Mr. Sandlin will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors are: Daughter: Connie (Barry) McGriff of Cullman, Son: Mark Sandlin of Cullman, Grandchildren: Amanda (Warren) Fuller of Birmingham, Tara Sandlin of Cullman, Great Grandchildren: Issac and Braxton Sandlin of Cullman and Alyssa Fuller of Birmingham, Brother: Duwane Sandlin of Glen Burnie, Md.

Pallbearers will be: Jeff Smith, Wayne Widner, Brandon Widner, Stacey Widner, Leslie Widner, Keith Stansel and Gary Wilhite.

Visitation will be on Thursday September 27, 2012 at Moss Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

The family would like to again express our deepest appreciation to Dr. Jim Hoover and the wonderful people that make up Cullman Internal Medicine; each caregiver and staff member at CRMC (especially those on the 4th floor) and to Hospice of Cullman County.
