David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis and Eula York and Will and Hassie Watson.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Watson York; his father, Charles O. York; uncle, G. David York; cousins, Donna Love, William David Watson and Michael Watson; and many friends, including Amy Alesia Hurst and "the brothers."
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Moss Service Funeral Home. A celebration of David’s life will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Church, John Richter and Bird Walker officiating; with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.
