Mrs. Charlotte Louise Freeman King

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Louise King, age 67 of Cullman, will be conducted on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon West Cemetery, with Rev. Vernon Willis officiating.

Mrs. King passed away at her daughters home on Saturday, May 1, 2010. She was born in Hartselle on August 14, 1942 to Marvin Freeman and Flossie F. Turrntine Freeman. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Cullman County, she attended church, while young, at Mt. Vernon Church and then at First Congregational Methodist Church. She worked in the laundry department at Cullman Long Term Care for four years, and had been a resident at Cullman Health Care for the past two years. Mrs. King is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas L. king, Jr. one sister, Margaret Hintz and one brother, Hewlett Freeman.

Survivors include her two Daughters, Tammy King Sims and Jennifer King (Stanly) Oden; one Son, Stephen (Rebecca Hogeland – Fiancé) King; one Sister, Athelene Netherton; five Grandchildren, Whittney Sims, Brianna Sims, Chance Sayre, Marion Oden and Kaleb King; and her Best Friend, Kathryn Maddox.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
