Clarice Hancock

Funeral services for Clarice Vaudie Hancock, 82, of Bremen will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ryans Creek Baptist Church, Rev. Keith Gambill officiating and Rev. Johnny Freeman assisting with burial in adjoining cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hancock died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born July, 9, 1929 to William Riley and Edna Stricklin Calvert. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Hancock; son Danny Ray Hancock; brothers, Quillon, O.V. and Jerd Calvert; and a sister Ellen Baker.

Survivors include a son, Bruce (Melissa) Hancock of Bremen; a daughter, Joyce (Jerry) Wilcox of Bremen; brothers, Sherrell, Dillon (Melba), Avery (Doris) and Joe (Edith) Calvert; sisters, Vonda Lee Waters and Ruth Graves; special sisters-in-law, Violet and Joan Calvert; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
