Clyde M. Lovvorn

Mr. Clyde M. Lovvorn of Cullman Alabama passed away on October 29, 2011 at his residence at the age of 85. Mr. Lovvorn was born on June 13, 1926 in Carrollton Georgia to Marion C. and Etta Pruett Lovvorn. He served his country in The United States Army in World War II. He was Assistant Manager at Cullman Electric Coop for 39 years. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Addaree Bentley Lovvorn.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 31, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Seventh Street Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Cleghorn officiating. Mr. Lovvorn will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Helen Stansell Lovvorn, 2 Daughters: Pamela Lovvorn (Chris) Pruitt of Gardendale, Kathy Lovvorn (Danny) Prichard of Pelham, Step-Daughter: Marisa Stansell (Jerry) Sellers of Cullman, Step-Sons: Keith (Wanda) Stansell of Cullman, Ron (Terry) Stansell of Cullman, Sisters: Becky Lovvorn Lynn, Virginia Lovvorn (Olen) Carter, Grandchildren: Matt (Cherry) Wachter, Josh (Chace) Wachter, Luke (Christiana) Wachter, Great Grandchild: Anderson Wachter, a host of nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday October 30, 2011 at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
