Mr. Darrel E. Calvert

Funeral Services for Mr. Darrel E. Calvert, age 61 of Bremen, will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Cold Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery, with Bro. Harce Swann officiate.

Darrel was born on November 17, 1950 to the late Calvin and Eula Taylor Calvert. He passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Calvert had worked at Hired Hand for the past 13 years, in his free time he enjoyed hunting at his “hunting camp”; and was always there to lend a hand if anyone needed help. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother – Larry Dale Calvert

Survivors include his Wife of 18 years – Ann Graves Calvert; one Son – D.J. Calvert; one Daughter – Amanda (Kerry) Hancock; two Granddaughters – Emma & Claire Hancock; 2 – Sisters – Pat (Dewey) Miller and Virginia Calvert; 2 – Brothers –Keith (Kim) Calvert and Donald (Betty) Calvert; one Sister-in-Law – Joanne Calvert; and a host of Nieces & Nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Cold Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
