Met David back in the early 2000s when he was running the I-57 drag strip in Benton Illinois. He helped me get started in the heads-up racing sport and help me start the king of the street series in 2004 I'm still running the series under the heartland heads up drag racing series name now and still using the track where I met him. He was a super good guy always eager to help and give his advice on moving toward the future The drag racing world has lost a true gentleman. Rest in peace David fly high buddy
