Lieutenant Commander, Dennis Clark Harris Sr. age 92 of Decatur died Friday, October 20, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dennis Elmore and Nell Ruth Clark Harris and a brother, William Richard Harris.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Bronson Harris; daughter, MaryNell Saunders (Jim); son, Dennis Clark Harris Jr. (Ann’Marie); granddaughters: Dr. Jenniver L. Clark (Jeff) and Samantha L Faucett (Andrew); great grandson, John Alexander Clark; and sister, Martha Ann Hooper.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Decatur. Inurnment will following in the Columbarium at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Military Honors will be rendered at the inurnment.
