Doris June Jacobs, age 78 of Vinemont passed away February 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1936 in Etowah County, AL.

She is preceded in death by Parents – Joseph Claude Johnson & Eula Belle Dison Johnson, Husband – Roy J. Jacobs, Daughter – Sharron Yarbrough, 2 – Sons – Max Jacobs & Brian Keith Jacobs, 5 – Brothers – Burn, Leon, Jack, Larry & Elmer Johnson.
Survivors include - Daughter – Sandra (Charles) Long, Son – Tommy (Jackie) Jacobs, 11 – Grandchildren, 31 – Great-Grandchildren, 2 – Great-Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a Memorial Graveside service at a later date.
