Dorothy Lee Burleson, age 95, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. Dorothy was born on September 26, 1930 in Bakersfield Missouri to Fred and Iola Shanks Hicks.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband: Tom Burleson and her parents.

Dorothy is survived by 2 sons: Mike Burleson and Tim Burleson, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a special friend: Lisa Bishop.

A celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Friday October 10, 2025 at St. Andrews Global Methodist Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Robert Lancaster officiating. Dorothy will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will follow the funeral service in Cullman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Moss Funeral Home from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.
