Mrs. Elfie Jane Graveman

Funeral services for Mrs. Elfie Jane Graveman, age 94 of Cullman, will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery, with Father Patrick Egan, O.S.B. officiating.

Mrs. Graveman passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born in Cullman on July 19, 1915 to Dexter and Luvie Cole. Elfie was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a life-long resident of Cullman County. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Ben Graveman, Jr.; two sisters, Melba Mize and Charisle Nail; two brothers, James and Loyd Cole.

Survivors include two Sisters, Ruby (Hebert) Odom and Lois (Frank) Morgan; Special Nephew, Ricky (Annette) Graveman; God-Daughter, Crystal Graveman; Special Friends, Lisa Reeder and Joyce Dingler; Life-Long Friend, Betty Closs; and a Host of Special Friends, Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends for the visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m.
