Mrs. Esther Louise Collier Pruitt Ballenger

Funeral Services for Mrs. Esther Louise Collier Ballenger of Good Hope, will be Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery, with Bro. Robin Key officiating.

Esther was born in Cullman to the late Louis Andrew & Ruby Lee Reeves Pruitt. She was a graduate of Cullman High School, had lived most of her life in the Cullman area and was the owner of “ Pet Parlor “ for around 30 years in the Good Hope area. The family would like to thank all of her customers, because they are like family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her previous husbands, Erskine Smith & Charles Collier; and one sister, Betty Self.

Esther is survived by her Husband – Doug Ballenger; Son – Scott Andrew (Kim) Smith; 3 – Daughters – Nicole (Darren) Camp, Kay (Charles) Mann & Julie Marie Ballenger-Lucas; 7 – Grandchildren – Letitia & Samuel Lockhart, Matthew & Cody Sanders, Melinda (Tim) Smith, David (Holly) Mann & Tyler Lucas; Brother - Paul (Susie) Pruitt; one Sister - Jean (Bill) Schenker.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
