Floyd Jones

Mr. Floyd Jones of Cullman Alabama passed away on October 15, 2010 at Cullman Regional Medical Center at the age of 86. Mr. Jones worked at Americold for 25 years and he also was a cattle farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was born on March 18, 1924 in Cullman to William Jackson and Josephine Parker Jones. Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 17, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Lee and Rev. Dewey Lee Briscoe officiating. Mr. Jones will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by: his parents, Brothers: Ervin Jones, Elbert Jones and Johnnie Jones, Sisters: Venermae Gilland and Ethel Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Ethel Marie Smith Jones of Cullman, 4 Sisters: Perlena Holmes of Jacksonville, Fl., Shelby (Coy) Wynn of Hanceville, Al. Annie Mae (James) Depreast of Hartselle, Al., Stella Beaver of Anniston, Al., 1 Brother: Roy (Alene) Jones of Decatur, Al., A host of nieces and nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be: Terry adams, Kalen Adams, Blaine Perry, Wendell Jones, Andrew Sandor, Mike Sandor, Junior Jones and Larry Smith. Visitation will be on Saturday October 16, 2010 at Moss Funeral Home from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M.
