Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Victoria Freeman, age 85 of Hanceville, will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, with Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating.

Mrs. Freeman passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was born in Winston County on August 8, 1924 to Hirim B. Baird and Ada C. Stewart Baird. Hazel was a member at Logan Baptist Church, had been married for 25 years, and enjoyed working outside and sewing as a past-time. She is preceded in death by her parents, a husband Ervin Jackson Freeman; and two brothers, Delmar Baird and Doyle Baird.
Survivors include two Daughters, Francis Freeman and Sandra Harbison; one Son, Jerry Freeman; one Sister, Avis Johnson; five Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for the visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
