Mr. Irvin Sease Derrick

Mr. Irvin Sease Derrick of Vinemont passed away on Wednesda, January 20, 2010 at Woodland Village Health Care and Rehab at the age of 91. Mr. Derrick was born on July 15, 1918 in Little Mountain, South Carolina to Olin and Elizabeth Sease Derrick. Mr.Derrick served in the U.S. Army/ Air Force in World War II. He also was in the CCC Camp which was organized during the Roosevelt administration. Mr. Derrick was a member of Beulah Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by: Parents, Wife: Glenice Derrick, 2 Sisters: Delores Windsor and Duise Boyle and a Grandson: Jeff Derrick.Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Webb and Bro. Huey Hartsell officiating. Interment will be in Cullman Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Jan Farley, Belmer Livingston, Peter Livingston, Joshua Livingston, Matthew Livingston and David Chapman.Mr. Derrick is survived by: 1 Daughter: Bonnie (Ronnie) Lord of Trenton, Fl, 1 Son: Harold D. (Jackie) Derrick of Vinemont, Al, 2 Grandchildren: Steve (Mona) Derrick, Shane Brewer, 2 Great Grandchildren: Jacob and Katie Derrick.Visitation will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home in Cullman, Alabama.
