James Franklin Bishop

Funeral Services for Mr. James Franklin Bishop, age 70 of Cullman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery, with Bro. Bo Marks officiating.

James was born in Holly Pond on January 26, 1944 to the late William “Bill” & Lillie Bell Bishop. He passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Mr. Bishop was a member at Duck River Baptist and had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Faye Nell Bishop and a nephew, Greg Bishop.

Survivors include one Daughter – Heather Davenport; one Son – Jason (Jesica) Bynum; Brother – Larry (Nancy) Bishop; 7 – Grandchildren – James Elijah Horton, Evan Rhea Hill, Ivey Lynn Bynum, Tristin Bynum, Whitley Bynum, Zoe Pitts & Chloe Lambert; and one Nephew – Kevin Bishop.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
