James "Buddy" Leon Eidson Sr.
March 21, 1934 – July 30, 2022

Funeral services for James (Buddy) Leon Eidson, Sr will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 5, 2022, at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church, Pastor Jason Ellerbee officiating, with internment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Moss Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Instead of a formal visitation prior to the service the family would love to visit with everyone immediately following the service in the narthex.
Mr. Eidson was born March 21, 1934 and passed away peacefully at his residence in Cullman on Saturday July 30, 2022. He was a Veteran and a 1958 graduate of Alabama Polytechnical Institute (now Auburn University) in Industrial Engineering.
He was preceded in death by his wife Araneita Eidson, parents John L and Melba Eidson and his brother Billy Jack Eidson.
Survivors include his two sons James Eidson Jr. and Brad (Sue) Eidson, both of Cullman and a daughter Michelle (Matt) Schultz of Auburn; 10 grandchildren, Taylor (Rachel) Eidson, Anna (Caleb) Bright, Hayes (Jessi) Eidson and Grace Eidson, Hanson (Catherine) Schultz, Joseph Schultz, Grissom Schultz, Jacob Schultz, Caroline Schultz and Justin Schultz.
11 great grandchildren, William Eidson, Scarlett Eidson, Greer Bright, Mabel Bright, Winn Bright, Elizabeth James Eidson, Sloane Eidson and Ryles Eidson, Preston Schultz, James Schultz and Baby Schultz due any day, his Sister-in-law Suzy Eidson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to a very special ministry Baby Steps P.O. Box 713, Auburn, AL 36831
Pallbearers will be his seven grandsons Taylor Eidson, Hayes Eidson, Hanson Schultz, Joseph Schultz, Grissom Schultz, Jacob Schultz, Justin Schultz.
Graveside will be later in the day for family only.
