Mr. James Douglas Henke

Funeral Services for Mr. James Douglas Henke, age 75 of Crane Hill, will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Livingston Chapel Cemetery, with Dr. Kenneth Graham and Rev. Ted Blalock officiating.

Mr. Henke passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born to Duey Henke and Mable Herferth Henke on March 31, 1936 in Cullman County.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Was a member of Livingston Chapel Church, a member of the Crane Hill Volunteer Fire Department, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War, and had retired from Merita/Flowers as a route man for 27 years.

Survivors include his Wife of 53 Years – Jackie Burrow Henke; one Son – Jimmy (Angela) Henke; two Grandsons – J.J. Henke and Justin Henke; and one Brother – Ed (Dot) Henke.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
