Mr. James Wayne Hinson

Memorial Services for Mr. James Wayne Hinson, age 69 of Cullman, will be Sunday, December 11, at 3:00 p.m. at the Grace Episcopal Church, with Father Robert Blackwell officiating. Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman directing. Mr. Hinson passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Brewton, AL on March 17, 1942 to James Lonnie Hinson and Mamie Gertrude King Hinson. James was a 1963 graduate of Auburn University, with a Bachelors in Chemistry. He went on to work for 37 years for CIBA Specialty Chemicals, retiring as the head of Packing and Contract Manufacturing for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Mr. Hinson was also a Lay Minister for nine years in Choctaw County, a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Cullman, a member of the Vestry and also taught several adult Sunday school classes. Survivors include his Wife of 47 years – Margaret Hinson; one Son – Andy (Sarah) Hinson; one Daughter – Christine Hinson (Commander Douglas) Gordon; and six 6 – Grandchildren – Joseph, James and Emily Margaret Hinson; Christopher, Nicholas James and Benjamin Gordon.
