

Mr. James Elmas Howlett of Cullman Alabama passed away on October 14, 2012 at Cullman Regional Medical Center at the age of 80. He was born in Crane Hill Alabama on November 3, 1931 to James Riley and Susie Jane Campbell Howlett. He was a veteran of The United States Navy and he was the owner operator of Howlett Oil Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wife: Betty Ruth Meyer Howlett, Brother-In-Law: Shirley Meyer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday October 15, 2012 at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Jim Deason officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are: 2 Daughters: Alisa Murphree and husband Dr. Steve Murphree of Cullman, Al., Judy Imhof and husband Dr. Eric Imhof of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Grandchildren: Justin (Brooke) Murphree, Katie and Patrick Murphree, Erin and Ryan Imhof, Sisters-In-Law: Jean (J.L.) Herring, Yvonne (Don) Pichelmayer, Gara (Jerry) Gray, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, Dear Friend: Bill (Jean) Parker, Special Caregivers: Betty Burns, Betty Hood, Barbara Sandlin, Iva Smith, Betty Teague, Mary Valincourt and Gwen Welch.
Visitation will be on Sunday October 14, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
