Funeral services for Mr. James Lewis Jenkins, age 73 of Logan will be Tuesday May 6, 2014, at 3 PM from the Moss-Service chapel with Rev. Jerry Donald Hooper officiating. Burial will follow at Emeus cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins passed away Friday at CRMC following complications from a hip fracture. He was born September 27, 1940 to Ted Thomas and Nellie Pearl Light Jenkins. He was a steel fabricator at Inland Buildings.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Ruby West, Pansy White and Marie Grissom, brothers; Willie, Harold, and Tommy Jenkins.
Survivors include three sons; James Rodney (Martha) Jenkins, Gregory Wade Jenkins and James Lewis (Sandy) Jenkins, Jr., a brother; Ted Junior Jenkins, nine grandchildren; Jennifer, Claire, Sarah and Sammie Jenkins, Letisha Antone, Katie Dolloff, Adam, Zoey and Alyssa Turner and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-9 PM.
