Jason Charles Johnson

Jason is preceded in death by his parents Connie and Charles Johnson; and grandparents Athel and Lois Calvert; Troy and Azalee Johnson. He is survived by his brother Matt (Valerie) Johnson; aunts Libby Edmondson and Janice (C.L.) Sweatman; nieces Ava Cate and Adalynn Johnson; and a host of cousins and friends.

Jeremy Parris, Ryan Key, Robin Key, Jeremy McCain, Cody McCain and Wesley Sweatmon will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Corey Freeman, Matt Patrick, Tim Laney and Wayne Blankenship.

Jason was a loving brother, uncle and friend to many. He was an avid piano player and loved all things music. Jason was a faithful member at West Point Baptist Church serving as a keyboardist and assistant music director for many years. Jason loved spending time with his nieces and Alabama football more than anything.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM in the Moss Service Funeral Home chapel. A celebration of life funeral service will follow Thursday October 30, 2025 at 12:00 PM at West Point Baptist Church with internment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Jason will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the service time at 12:00 PM. Bro. Samuel Tucker officiating. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
