

Jean Fields Moore, 78, passed peacefully away Dec. 26, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was born and raised in Tarrant, and later moved to Decatur, where she raised her family before moving to Cullman. She resided there until her death. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Charles O. Fields and Ella Jones Fields; and her brother, William "Curt" Fields. She is survived by her husband, William T. Moore; daughters, Denise Braswell (Mark) and Tina Aderhold (Joey); stepchildren, Mike Moore (Hallie), Linda Hinds (Nicolai) and Frank Moore (Amy); grandchildren, Sydney Fritz, Phillip Braswell, David Braswell, Bryant Moore, Baylee Moore, Jasmine Hinds and Amanda Hinds; sisters, Mira Fields and Evelyn Fields; brothers, Charles Fields and Howard Fields; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Moss Service Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood.
