Mr. Jimmy "Nub" Lynn Wells

Funeral services for Jimmy Lynn “Nub” Wells, 68, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Ronnie Jetton officiating, with burial in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wells died Wednesday, Aug. 4, at his residence. He was born Aug. 24, 1941, to H.P. and Eudora Fisher Wells. He was a retired paving supervisor with the Cullman County Road Department.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Nelda Jo Goodlett Wells; his wife’s children, Jolaine Wells of Las Vegas, Nev., Deann (Mike) Jackson and Randy (Sherri) Wells, both of Cullman; his mother; a brother, Gerald (Ann) Wells of Cullman; his mother-in-law, Aretta Goodlett of Cullman; nine grandchildren; a nephew, Wade (Jennifer) Wells of Cullman; two great-nephews, Pryce and Kenson Wells of Cullman; six great-grandchildren; a niece, Chandra (Barry) Johnson of Cullman; and two great-nieces, Shay and Marlena Johnson of Cullman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County, P.O. Box 1108, Cullman, AL 35056.

Pallbearers will be Wade Wells, Barry Johnson, Randy Wells, Calvin Wells, Corey Gibbs, Dusty Gibbs, Nicholas Gibbs and Michael Gibbs.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pryce Wells, Kenson Wells and Austin Jackson.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday.
