Mr. Joe A. Johnston

Mr. Joe A. Johnston of Cullman Alabama passed away on June 9, 2012 at his residence at the age of 85. He was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 26, 1927 to Hugh and Zella Greer Johnston. He served in The United States Army and he retired from Lamson Sessions where he worked as a machinist. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 Daughter: Terri Campbell and 2 Brothers: Cecil and Ray “Dasher” Johnston.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman Alabama at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dudley Brock officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville Alabama. Visitation will be at Moss Funeral Home on Monday June 11, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Survivors are: Wife: Colene Murray Duncan Johnston of Cullman, Daughters: Sherry (Terry) Melvin, Toni (Moochie) Barnett and Regina Lynn Duncan, all of Cullman, Sons: Bubba (Karen) Duncan, Randy (Carol) Duncan, both of Cullman; Son-in-Law - Wallace Campbell; Sister: Peggy Mayhew of Irondale, Al., 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
