Leon’s family and friends remember him as a jovial, strong but silent, passionate, caring man, with an infectious laugh.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents: Leon & Elizabeth Cardell Smith; and his sister Janet James.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Smith; daughter, Cheryl Manzella (Michael); grandchildren: Michael, Christie & Vincent Manzella; nephews: Jason James & Jared James; Aunt & godmother, Kay Foster.
The family will receive friends at Valley Springs Church, Thursday, March 2, 2127 at 10:00 AM. They will celebrate Leon’s life at 11:00 AM. with burial to follow in the adjacent cemetery.
