Funeral Services will be held June 3, 2014 at Moss Service Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM with interment at Bethlehem West Cemetery. Pastor Tim Herron officiating.

Visitation will be Monday Evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife: Effie Hayes, Daughters: Jannie (Michael) McCain & Melissia (Chris) Vales,

Sons: Roger (Kathy) Hayes, Byron (Kay) Hayes and Ronald Hayes. Sisters: Jewell (Gene) Beaupre,

Sally (Wesley) Porkhurst, Sadie (Don) Beaupre and Betty Sue (Morris) Andrews, Brothers: Wendell (Icey) Hayes and Billy (Faye) Hayes,Sisters-In-Law: Delpha and Agens Hayes, Grandchildren: Donna (Heath) McCain, Tandy Hayes, Trevor (Amanda) Hayes, Jennifer Hayes, Little Luke Vales and Layla Vales, Great Grandchildren: Dylan McCain, Page Wilbourn, Lexie Hayes, John Trevor, Zachery Nail and Ashley Nail, One Great-Great Grandchild: Bent Leo Wilbourn

He was preceded in death by his parents: Newton Jefferson Hayes and Liley Mae Depreast Hayes, Brothers: Hodge and Lynch Hayes and Grandson: Mike McCain. Mr. Hayes was a self employed Barber for 48 years and loved to read his Bible and he also lived by it.
