Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ruth Gay, age 84, will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery, with Pastor Aaron Coffey officiating.

Mrs. Gay passed away on January 5, 2011 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was born on November 17, 1926 to the late, Robert Barto Reese and Mamie Bice Reese. She had worked in the Cullman High School lunch room.
Survivors include her two Daughters - Marla Lynn of Cullman and Marilyn Murphree of Cullman; one Son - Timothy James Gay of Cullman; and one Sister - Blanche Warren of Cullman; three Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
