Mary Gibbs

Funeral services for Mary Fay Gibbs, 82, of Cullman will be Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Chapel with Pastor Charles York officiating with interment in Welti Cemetery.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gibbs died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 3, 1929 to Rubin and Evies McCullars, Brown. Mary was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent many hours volunteering for all school fundraisers. She was also an avid fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and the Girl Scouts of America.

She was preceded in death by her parents;. and 2 brothers: Floyd and Don Brown

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Gibbs; a son, Clenton Gibb; two daughters, Pat Kilpatrick and Deborah Goggins; 10 grandchildren, Tammy (Paul) Carpenter, Crystal Smith, Anthony Smith, Shelia (Derek) Smith, Jonathon (Michelle) Watwood, Brandi Watwood, Zachary Goggins, Jim (Audy) Kilpatrick, Jerry (La Moyne) Kilpatrick and Tammy (Marty) Lemons; 19 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday Jan. 21, 2012 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
