Mrs. Melba Ruth Henson of Cullman Alabama passed away on March 19, 2015 at Cullman Long Term Care and Rehab at the age of 79. She was born on May 12, 1935 in Cullman to Oscar H. and Alice Gardener Parker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother: Wallace “Pete” (Charlotte) Parker of Lacey Springs, Al.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Del Brock officiating. Interment will be at Cullman Memory Gardens at a later date.
Survivors are: Husband: Samuel H. Henson of Cullman, Al., Daughters: Sherry (Clark) Fincher of Hanceville, Al., Myranda (Keith) Pegues of Grant, Al., Son: Phillip H. (Deanna) Henson of Atlanta, Tx., Sisters: Glenda (George) McElroy of Cullman, Al., Sandy Parker of Hanceville, Al., Grandchildren: Ben Fincher, Jessi Fincher, Jason Pegues, Shawn Pegues, Camille Henson and Hunter Henson, a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Moss Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
