Funeral services for Mr. Milton Trenton McGriff will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Wisener and Rev. Sherman Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Pond Cemetery.
Mr. McGriff passed away Saturday, February 27, at his residence at the age of 78. Mr. McGriff was born on May 24, 1931 in Cullman Alabama to James Matthew and Ila Anne Hart Mcgriff. He worked as a lab technician for Citadel Concrete Company for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Ovis James McGriff.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Louise Taylor McGriff, two sons; Mike (Lisa) McGriff and David (Brenda) McGriff, three sisters; Ezma Reid, Elna Barnett and Carol White, two brothers; Dewel McGriff and Feltus McGriff, grandchildren: Matt McGriff, Lee (Ashley) McGriff, Amanda Tankersley, David Segars and Brian (Nicole) Segars and 8 great grandchildren: Alliyah McGriff, Leighton McGriff, Avery Barnett, Carter Tankersley, Haley, Chloe, Taylor and Dawson Segars.
