Norma Faye Heaton Herron

Mrs. Norma Faye Herron, age 85, of Crane Hill, Alabama departed this life on March 4, 2015. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 67 years, Walter J. Herron, Jr.; son, Bill Herron (Sandra); grandchildren, Jason D. Herron, Christie H. Crouch (Tracy), Anthony Cole Herron (Amy); great grandchildren, Harper Crouch, Dennis Crouch; brother, Victor Heaton (Marie); sisters, Doris Dryke (Walt) and Ramona Robb. Born into a family of 11 brothers and sisters, there is a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins along with other relatives and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by: Son; Dennis James Herron (Martha) of Newnan, Georgia. Brothers; William Heaton, Max Heaton, Jack Heaton, Joe Heaton, Roy Heaton, Lester Heaton. Sisters; Beverly Heaton Tower, Sharon Heaton Roberts, Dixie Heaton Moore.

Norma retired from Alabama Power after 29 years. Together, Walter (Buddy) and Norma moved to Crane Hill, Alabama on Smith Lake where they loved entertaining family and friends. Norma was a Charter Member of Smith Lake Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at Moss Funeral Home, Cullman, Alabama, on March 7th from 11:00 until 12:00 with the funeral following from12:00. Burial will be at Bethany Baptist Church in Crane Hill, Alabama with Timothy Davis officiating.
