Mr. Paul Douglas Skinner

Funeral Services for Mr. Paul Douglas Skinner, age 67 of Logan, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Mt. Zion Cemetery, with Rev. Greg Dollar officiating.

Mr. Skinner passed away at St. Vincent’s East Hospital on Friday, January 31. He was born in Cullman, on January 8, 1947 to the late Troy & Movalene Brock Skinner. Doug was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, he raised cattle and worked 25 years at Pet Dairy and 20 years at Woodland Hospital. Mr. Skinner also served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Michael Skinner; his father and mother-in-law Carvin & Vonda Lee Waldrep.

Survivors include, his Wife of 42 years – Delwyn Waldrep Skinner; one Sister – Patsy (Kenny) Lee; a Sister-in-Law – Shirley Skinner and Nieces & Nephews; and a beloved pet dog, Katie Jane.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
