Valerie, Chris, and Nathan,

Many memories come to mind at this time of loss. The ones that come to my mind the most are the summers I would go to stay with your Mom and Dad in Florence, Alabama when your Dad was in preaching school. We would ride the Joy bus on Sunday and Wednesday to pick up kids and do visitation on Saturdays. Even at such a young age, I was amazed at how God was working in the kids lives that they came in contact with. It was a very important time in my life (at age 11) being a new Christian.

I also remember helping your Mom set up house a few times. As a preachers wife you get used to moving and she always seem to enjoy the new venture. It must have been tiring at times but she never let on, if it was.

I also remember how good she was to your Grandpa Speegle, especially when Nana went to the nursing home. Her and Daddy had something special that often in-laws don't have.

I wish we did not lose touch as we did, but the last time I talked to her I told her that I loved her and she me.

I am so proud of all of you and how you are there for each other.

May God bless you and be with you now and in future years to come.

Sorry I never told you
All I wanted to say
And now it's too late to hold you
'Cause you've flown away, so far away

Never had I imagined
living without your smile
Feeling and knowing you hear me
It keeps me alive, alive

And I know you're shining down on me from heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day
Darlin', I never showed you
Assumed you'd always be there
and I took your presence for granted
But I always cared and I miss the love we shared

And I know you're shining down on me from heaven
Like so many friends we've lost along the way
And I know eventually we'll be together
One sweet day

Sorry I never told you
All I wanted to say

Mom I miss you so much and don't know how I am going to go on without you.
I love you.

Valerie, I remember your mom. I remember her from school then later on we each had kids around the same age playing football together. She was a sweet lady and raised an amazing daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go through this difficult time. God loves you and you have many friends who love you and are praying for you.

Valerie,Chris and Nathan,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I loved your moma like a sister. She was my best friend. I really wanted to be there, I just don't have the finances available to make the trip. I live in Michigan. Your mother was the inspiration for my life for many years. She trully loved you kids and her grandbabies. We were always comparing grandbaby stories. My thoughts and prayers and love goes out to each of you. I truly wish I could be there. Love Kathy Williams

Valerie - I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and your family. I ask that God wraps you up in His arms to comfort you and give you the peace you stand in need of. I pray in the upcoming days that you have filled with all the strength you need to make it through this time. I'm call away if you need to talk. God Bless and you're in my prayers!
