Mr. Randy Lee Aaron

Funeral Services for Mr. Randy Lee Aaron, age 61 of Hanceville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday , October 24, 2012 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery, with Rev. Mike Lansford officiating.

Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Aaron passed away at BMC Princeton Hospital in Birmingham on Monday, October 22, 2012. He was born on April 17, 1951 to George Aaron and Vonie Seel Speegle Aaron. Randy was an avid hunter, gardener and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was employed by Black Warrior Minerals for 31 years.

Randy was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, PaPa and brother, he will be missed greatly by those who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, and his nephew, Kenneth Williams.

Survivors include his Father - George Aaron; his Wife of 39 Years - Judy Stricklin Aaron; two 2 - Daughters - Ginger (April) Aaron and Vonda Aaron (Tim) Baty; 2 - Granddaughters - Avery Aaron-Bush and Cameron Baty; five 5 - Brothers - Larry Joe (Barbara) Aaron, Jerry Aaron, Roy (Donna) Aaron, Sam Aaron and Robert (Julie) Aaron; three 3 - Sisters - June (Bernard) Williams, Debra (Greg) Swann and Beverly (Wayne) Hollis; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews & Friends.

The family will receive friends for the visitation at Mt. Joy Church on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church, prior to the service at 2:00 p.m.

Judy, I am really sorry to hear about Randy's death. I am glad that I knew him as a classmate at Cold Springs. I always enjoyed seeing Randy & you at class reunions to catch up on your lives. I know he will be greatly missed by those who knew & loved him.
