Mr. Goodwin was born February 23, 1961 to Royce Orville and Velter Gutherie Goodwin. He grew up in Alabama and became a truck driver.
Royce Eugene Goodwin was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Robert Goodwin and James Abbott; and a grandchild, MJ Goodwin. He is survived by his mother Velter Gutherie Goodwin, sons, Mark (Sarah) Goodwin, Joseph (Stephanie) Goodwin, and Gabriel (Tanya) Goodwin; sister, Lisa Goodwin; brothers, Harold Gutherie and Rayford Abbott; and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Goodwin will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 6 - 8 pm at Moss Service Funeral Home in the chapel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 17, at Moss Service Funeral Home's chapel with interment following the service at Goodwin Family Cemetery.
