Sharon was a wonderful friend and colleague. She cared deeply about her family and friends. Sharon was a terrific cook and a very gracious hostess--sharing her Southern hospitality and many culinary talents with her friends and co-workers. As a matter of fact, the last time I saw her in person she shared the magazine where her recipes were published! 
I have no doubt she is smiling down on us as she prepares chicken salad or some other heavenly treat for Mike and new friends!
Rest in peace, friend.

Sharon and I have been friends since her family moved to Pleasant Grove when we were in the 4th grade. She was one of those friends who, if you lost touch, you could pick up right where you left off when you got back together. I treasured her friendship, and she will be sorely missed. 

Sharon’s heart held much love, care, and compassion for everyone she knew, and that made her beautiful, inside and out. 
I was shocked, and very saddened, to have learned of her passing. My heart goes out to Ronda, Evan, and T.J.  She loved them so very much. 
She had many gifts, and she knew how to make people feel special, whether it was through her knitting, or cards she would send. I received some beautiful cards with birds on them, because she knew how much I enjoyed them. She was really very thoughtful of others, was funny, and a very good cook! 
Sharon will be missed so much. I treasure the friend  I had in her. She was definitely one in a million! 


I remember Sharon and Mike teaching my son Sunday School.  When I think of Sharon, I think of the song "Thank You For Giving to the Lord".    I remember Sharon bringing food to my home when my mom passed away.   She always sent Birthday Cards and was truly a special 
 person.  I will miss seeing Sharon.   Our loss is heavens gain.

sharon this is gary i want you and your family to know  how much you are loved by teresa and i. thank you so much for your love and support for both of us over the years you are the greatest. you are the kindest person i have ever known. we love and will remember you forever, rest in peace god love you forever

Sharon made crochet baby blankets for my children and my grandchildren (in her spare time). My grand baby, Vera loves to stick her tiny fingers in the holes… she was a wonderful Southern lady through and through. She loved our God, her family and her church, St. Andrew’s United Methodist.  You are already missed. I love you
