Funeral services for Theron “Bill” Davis, 81, of Joppa will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Carl Cash officiating, with interment in Brooklyn Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis died Tuesday, March 23, at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab. He was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Alabama to William Ester and Minnie Missouri Kilpatrick Davis. He was a press operator for 33 years with Cullman Products, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon (Ronald) Preston, Karla (Butch) McAllister and Connie (Don) Fortner; two sons, Randy Davis and Phillip (Ronda) Davis; two sisters, Myrl Waldrep and Mary McMillen; eight grandchildren, Patti and Daniel Preston, Amanda, Brent and Karra Davis, Melanie Davis, Kristy, Brooks and Kelly Fortner; five great-grandchildren, Theron Preston, Emily Brooks, Tre Rose, McKenzie Hale and Eros Fortner; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Davis.
