Thomas Colly Madison

surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was born September 14, 1956 to Ralph E. and Betty Ann Brooks Madison.

Thomas served honorably in the United States Army as a medic. For his service in Grenada, he was nominated for a Meritorious Service Medal. After retiring from the military, Thomas spent his time in Alaska and Alabama, raising a family, and enjoying adventures in nature. He spent his last years in Vinemont, making a life with his wife Mary, who he called his “angel on Earth.”

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Emmett E. “Tim” Madison.

Thomas is survived by his wife: Mary Madison; daughters: Brandy Langston Blackmon, Jennifer Leanne Whittaker, LeAnn Roberts and Jeri Dean; sons: Jason Robert Madison, Jonathan David Madison and Jacob Eli Dean; eighteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and special cousins: Steve Payne and Greg Payne.

A celebration of life memorial visitation for Thomas will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055.
