He died Friday, May 21, 2010, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer H. Tucker and Leo D. and Esther L. Searcy.
He worked in the home remodeling business.
Survivors include his parents, James Wayne and Wilna Tucker Searcy; brother, James Richard Searcy; sister, Anne Searcy-Vaneman; a niece, Erica Searcy; a nephew, Donald W. Vaneman; grandmother, Nellie N. Tucker.
Visitation will 6-8 p.m. today at Moss-Service Funeral Home.
