I did not know Tyler personally, however our paths did cross once, digitally. I purchased a 1969 Chevy Camaro SS 350 via eBay from Tyler in 2007. I remember the morning it arrived, it felt like it was Christmas morning and I was 7 years old. I loved that car from the moment it hit my driveway. I was looking for pictures he had sent me just prior to purchasing The car in my Gmail but Google sent me here instead. I was very saddened to learn what happened. I’m sure things are still pretty tough and will be for some time, and I can’t imagine what you all are going through. It was obvious he and his family were very happy and really enjoyed life. As difficult as it may be, and even tho I didn’t know him at all, it’s pretty obvious by those pictures he’d want everyone to try and continue to do so.

Michelle and Brenda and family I am so very sorry for your great loss. Michelle I remember your working at Tyson Foods and you were so sweet and kind. And your mom Brenda and I worked together years and I came to know you all as a wonderful loving family. I am praying for you all. May the Lord keep you in his care.

I've known Tyler since 1991, I regret I did not have the honor of meeting his daughter. Although we were not close friends, I met him when I sold him an old Chevy Vega, tubbed out without a motor and transmission, but otherwise, almost ready to race. He came to my house and we spent a little time talking about racing and cars. From that brief meeting, I got a glimpse of a genuinely good young man, and I never forgot that interaction. My heart goes out to his parents, and to his wife and other children. Rest In Peace my friend. You will be missed.
